A real flood and cars trapped in a tunnel – this is what the Toruńska Route in Warsaw, a section of the S8 expressway, looked like at night after heavy downpours. We received the recording on Kontakt24.
As a result of heavy downpours that passed through Warsaw in the afternoon and at night, Many places in the capital were flooded. – Since the early morning hours, or rather since the night hours, we have received over 1,000 reports of various kinds and we are trying to intervene everywhere as quickly as possible – said the mayor of Warsaw at a press conference on Tuesday Rafal Trzaskowski.
Among other things, the S8 route was under water. It was closed to traffic. On Kontakt24 we received a recording showing what the Toruńska route, or rather a section of it, looked like at night. The camera from inside Rafał's car – Repotera24 – recorded the waves forming and the cars being carried by the water.
