During the procession, the priest carries the Blessed Sacrament, which is removed solemnly from the symbolic grave of the Lord. Others also carry the figure of the risen Christ, which is then placed in the presbytery. A souvenir of the resurrection of Christ celebrates the Church every Sunday of the liturgical year.
