Ewa Puszczyńska will produce the series “Women's Hell” for the Max platform

Photos to “Hell of Women” – a series that will take viewers to interwar Warsaw. Ewa Puszczyńska, a producer of such films as “Interest Zone” and “Ida”, is responsible for producing a new title for the Max platform.

Pictures for “Hell Women” began in February and are taken in Łódź and Warsaw. The series will take place in Warsaw of the 1930s. Emil Heckmann, an ambitious medical student, discovers that his sister died after illegal surgery of pregnancy, which was the result of rape. The hero suspects that the tragedy may be related to the mysterious man he met in the newspaper. Emil blames the editors for his sister's death. The editor -in -chief Maksymilian Wróblewski does not feel guilty, but his wife, Helena Wróblewska, decides to help Emil and find the perpetrator.

New series on the Max platform

As the creators announce, “Women's Hell” talks about how women's friendship and solidarity develop in a world dominated by men. This is a modern story about freedom of choice, mutual respect, understanding and acceptance of various views.

The series is created for the Max platform in cooperation with Extreme Emotions on behalf of TVN Warner Bros. Discovery. The script was written by Magdalena Franczuk and Ewa Popiołek. He is directed by Anna Maliszewska, and the author of the photos is Wojciech Zieliński. The producers are Ewa Puszczyńska and Adrianna Odecka (TVN WBD). The production managers are Małgorzata Bereźnicka and Tomasz Parnowski (TVN WBD). Jagna Janicka is responsible for the stage design, and Agnieszka Józefina Sasim and Tomasz Matraszek for the characterization. The costumes were designed by Małgorzata Fudala. The director of the cast is Magdalena Szwarcbart.

Ewa Puszczyńska produced Oscar hits

Ewa Puszczyńska is a producer, a member of the American Film Academy and the European Film Academy. She was responsible for the production of such films as “Ida” (Oscar In the category of the best non -English film) and “Cold War” by Paweł Pawlikowski, “Aida” Jasmili, or “Lesson of Mr. Kuki” by Dariusz Gajewski. Jonathan Glazer's “Interested Zone” of the “Interest Zone” in 2024 won two Oscars (the best sound, the best international film). This year, he received the famous statuette for the creation in the “real pain” produced by Puszczyńska Kieran Culkin – in the best actor in the supporting role.
