In August this year Ewa Swoboda took part in the Memorial Kamila Skolimowska in Chorzów as part of the series Diamond League. However, the 27-year-old did not manage to make a big surprise. In the final 100-meter race, she achieved a result of 11.03 and took sixth place.

After the competition, Swoboda revealed in a conversation with the media that she would not participate in the World Indoor Championships, which will be held on March 21-23, 2025 in the Chinese city of Nanjing. “We won't start so early. It's a waste of time. I'd rather prepare better. We have the European Indoor Championships in the Netherlands ahead of us. Then Nanjing in China, where the indoor world championship. It makes me feel very bad. I don't like this place. I probably won't start there” – she said, quoted by TVP Sport. However, the 27-year-old thought about it and changed her mind.
