The second intervention concerned a 19-year-old man who suffered an ankle injury in a shelter near Łabski Szczyt. Due to the large icing, the vehicle was left in a safe place on the route, and the rest of the rescuers defeated on foot. After first aid, the man was safely transported to Szklarska Poręba.

The most serious notification came from the Horska service at 23.31. Two Polish tourists perverted from a closed red trail on goat ridges and were observed in difficult terrain towards a vrch. The conditions are difficult. Rescuers call

“Move only on open trails and always plan your trips taking into account weather conditions, equipment and your own skills. Ill -considered decisions can cost health and even life” – call GOPR rescuers.

The first degree of avalanche threat applies to the Karkonosze. The liberation of the avalanche is generally possible only with high additional load in a few places, on very steep or extreme slopes.

The conditions on the trails are difficult. There are 30-100 centimeters of snow in the upper parts of the Karkonosze. The top layer of the snow cover got a large dose of moisture, after which it began to freeze it and became hard. On a frozen surface, on the leeward pages, small deposits from the wounded fresh snow accumulate.
