IMGW has issued weather warnings. In part of the country, the danger will continue to be strong winds, with gusts reaching speeds of up to 75 kilometers per hour. Check where it will be dangerous.
Forecasters from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMWM) issued first-degree meteorological warnings on a three-point, ascending scale.
First degree IMWM warnings – strong wind
Lower-level strong wind warnings apply to the following provinces:
- Warmia-Masuriaoutside the western counties;
- Podlaskie;
- Masoviannorth-eastern counties;
- Lublinnorthern counties.
Strong winds are forecast from the west and north-west, with average speeds of up to 35 kilometres per hour, with gusts of up to 75 km/h.
The alarms will be valid on Monday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
What is the first-degree IMWM meteorological warning?
First-degree warning predicts conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause material losses and threaten health and life. Conducting business in conditions of exposure to these factors is difficult and dangerous. Expect difficulties resulting from conducting activities in the area of the threat, including delays caused by traffic disruptions, disruptions in the course of outdoor events or the possibility of their cancellation. Caution is recommended, the need to follow messages and the development of the weather situation.
