The ALDI network asks its clients for a “immediately return” of wheat flour purchased from them, provided by Goodmills Polska Sp. Z o. The reason for the product withdrawal is the presence of microbiological pollution – Escherichia coli.

The ALDI network has published a message in which she asked customers to return the product, which until recently was available in her stores.

“(…) Please immediately return to our stores article wheat flour type 650, 1 kg, with a barcode 28005155, supplied by GoodMills Polska Sp.z oo” – wrote.

At the same time, it was emphasized that “withdrawal applies only to a product marked with a minimum durability date: 29/09/2025 and 30/09/2025”.

Microbiological pollution

“The amount due for the purchased goods will be returned to you, also in the absence of a receipt that is proof of purchase. The product can be returned until 03/03/2025 (inclusive) to Aldi stores” – assures the network.

The reason for the withdrawal of the product and the appeal to consumers is the statement of “the presence of microbiological pollution: Escherichia coli”.

Although the E. coli bacteria naturally occurs in the large intestine of a man, where he plays an important role (including helps in the distribution of food), it can cause diseases of other organs. Most often, infection causes diseases and gastrointestinal infections, which are manifested by diarrhea and increased temperature.
