If the Emperor were to return from the dead, almost 47 percent of the French would be willing to vote for him in elections presidential elections in 2027 – according to a study by the Odoxa center and the Editions JC Lattes publishing house, conducted on the occasion of the premiere of the historical thriller “The Key and the Cross” by Eric Giacometti and Jacques Ravenna.
This percentage far exceeds the electoral potential of the 2022 candidates, including Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen.

The French Appreciate Napoleon
Admiration for Napoleon stems largely from the French perception of his leadership and achievements. For 62 percent of respondents, Napoleon was a good leader Francemaking a significant contribution to the development of the country through the introduction of the Civil Code, the establishment of secondary schools and the improvement of university education.
Fifty-three percent of French people see Napoleon as the father of current French institutions, and 43 percent believe he raised France to the rank of a great power. Although the emperor's wars claimed millions of lives, only 40 percent of respondents point to this negative aspect of his rule.
