IMGW issued meteorological warnings. In almost the whole country at night we can expect frosts. At the ground, the temperature can drop to -2 degrees Celsius.

The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued first degree alarms before frosts.

Alarms before frosts apply in voivodships:

  • Pomeranian;
  • West Pomeranian;
  • Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship;
  • Kuyavian-Pomeranian;
  • Podlasie;
  • Lubuskiein the northern poviats;
  • Lublin;
  • Greater Poland;
  • Łódź;
  • Mazowieckie;
  • Świętokrzyskie;
  • Lower Silesiain the Oleśnicki and Milicki poviats;
  • Opolein poviats located in the northern half of the region;
  • Silesianin the northern poviats;
  • Lesser Polandin the following poviats: Olkusz, Miechowski, and Dąbrowski;
  • Podkarpackiein the northern poviats.

A decrease in air temperature locally to about 2 degrees Celsius is forecast, with the ground to -2 degrees C. Warnings will be valid until 6 o'clock on Sunday.

What is the first -degree IMGW meteorological warning

The first degree warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that can cause material losses and a threat to health and life. Expect difficulties resulting from conducting activities in the area of ​​threat, including delays caused by traffic difficulties, disturbances in outdoor events or the possibility of their dismissal.
