31. Fryderyk's hand behind us. The annual Awards of the Phonographic Academy were awarded in 14 categories of popular music. Fryderyk in the category of Artist of the Year received Zalewski, who also won in the Album of the Year Rock & Blues and the single POP Alternative. This year's Golden Fryderyk went to Beata Kozidrak and posthumously to Wojciech Trzciński.

The Fryderyki Academy awards awarded for 30 years – Fredericks – were in the hands of the winners and winners of the 31st edition. On Saturday evening we met the winner and winners in terms of popular music. The gala took place in Krakow. This year, the Phonographic Academy awarded prizes in 13 categories. In addition, all nominees and nominees automatically had a chance in the artist/artist category.

Zalewski (Krzysztof Zalewski) received the statuette in this category. It was the third category in which Zalewski received the award that evening. Earlier he won in the following categories: Rock & Blues and the single POP Alternative Year. Kaśka Sochacka received two Fryderyk. It was appreciated in the Album of the Year Pop and Single of the Year Pop.

This year, two golden Fryderyk was awarded in the amusement music section. The first of them was posthumously received by Wojciech Trzciński – an outstanding composer, pianist, arranger and music producer, founder of the Independent Art Center Fabryka Trzciny. The artist at the age of 75 passed away on February 1 this year. The prize was received by the grandchildren of Trzciński.

Beata Kozidrak received the second honorary Fryderyk.

Fryderyki – a short story

Fryderyk has been handed out since 1995. The Fonographic Academy established by the Association of Audio Video producers in 1999 decides who the prizes go to the awards, which has almost 1.8 thousand artists, creators, producers, journalists and representatives of the phonographic industry. The nominations for Fryderyk are selected through a secret ballot of all members of the Academy. They are divided into three sections: entertainment music, classical music and jazz music. Members can only belong to one of this section and can only vote within it.

After announcing the list of nominations, the winners and winners of individual categories are indicated in the second round of voting. If two or more nominees received the largest number of votes, the award is awarded ex aequo.

Katarzyna Nosowska remains the record holder of Fryderyk, who has received 34 statuettes with the solo artist and together with the Hey group.
