Garwolin. Illegal gambling and drugs, anti -terrorist entry

Policemen from Garwolin (Mazowieckie) liquidated the illegal gambling showroom, which – according to investigators – also served as a drug trade point. Three suspects were detained.

The action was the result of the activities of Garwolin prosecutors and policemen from the criminal department. On Tuesday in Dęblin, officers entered the three places simultaneously. To get to one of them, counter -terrorists had to use force.

Illegal gambling and drugs

“The illegal gambling salon was liquidated there and a 46 -year -old suspected of running it was detained. According to investigative findings, drug sales were sales in the living room,” she informed the horseshoes. Małgorzata Pychner from the Poviat Police Headquarters in Garwolin.

Other detainees are a 33-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man. “The collected material indicates that they both dealt with drug trafficking and had prohibited substances, and the man also participated in the turn of significant amounts of intoxicants. During searches, the police secured amphetamine, marijuana, objects used for portioning drugs and cash” – added Pychner.

Temporary arrest

The prosecutor submitted a request to the court for a 51-year-old detention. The court granted this conclusion. In turn, the 33-year-old was covered by police supervision.

There is a penalty of up to 12 years in prison for placing significant amounts of drugs. For running illegal gambling games you can get a fine or hit bars for up to three years.
