Gdańsk. He attacked the victim with a machete. A dangerous man was detained by counter -terrorists

The next three months will spend a 37-year-old from Gdańsk suspected of attempted murder. However, this is only the beginning of his imprisonment, because, after he attacked the victim with a machete, he is threatened with life imprisonment.

The incident occurred at the end of March in one of the hotels in the southern part of Gdańsk. The perpetrator attacked the victim with a machete, and also destroyed the hotel property, and then escaped from the crime.

– While working on this case, the criminals reached people who had information about the event, secured the recordings of monitoring cameras, and when they determined what the perpetrator looks, they began to look for it – said the press officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Gdańsk, asp. pcs. Mariusz Chrzanowski.

Weapons and other dangerous items in the apartment

The attacker hit the police last Wednesday. Counter -terrorists were involved in the action, because there was a risk that a man could have a weapon. In addition, the officers also found a number of other dangerous items.

The detainee heard allegations of attempted murder, exposure to the danger of losing his life or health, causing a slight damage to health, possession of firearms and destruction of property. On Friday, the court decided to arrest him for three months. For attempted murder there is even a life sentence.
