According to Radio Gdańsk, Tomasz Buza – a film expert and former journalist of the radio station – has died. He passed away after a serious and long illness. He covered, among others, the Polish Feature Film Festivals in Gdynia and hosted music programs. The portal of the city of Gdańsk also said goodbye to the journalist.
Tomasz Buza died on November 12, 2024 – Radio Gdańsk reported. The film expert and journalist was 54 years old. “He lost his fight against a long and serious illness,” it was added.
“He hosted, among others, music and film programs, as well as the Radio Gdańsk Hit List. He reported on the Polish Feature Film Festivals in Gdynia,” we read on the local radio's website.

The journalist was also farewelled on the website of the city of Gdańsk.
“He was born on September 5, 1970 in Gdynia. He studied at the University of Gdańsk. He had extraordinary knowledge of film and music. He also had a warm, characteristic voice, which made him great on the radio – on the local radio station he hosted, among others, the Radio Hits Chart Gdańsk. He conducted many interviews with actors and directors. On his Facebook profile, he mentioned meetings with actors Jan Nowicki and Franciszek Pieczka also with foreign, outstanding creators, he was particularly proud of the interview with Alan Parker, the British director of the films “Midnight Express”, “Fame”, “The Wall”, “Bird”, “Harry Angel”, “Mississippi Burning”. ” or “The Commitments” – we read.
