The meeting of the German parliamentary committee, as well as the words delivered there, did not escape Russia's attention. Moscow reacted quickly.
“The Kremlin on Monday rejected the claim of the head of German foreign intelligence that it would be able to attack NATO by the end of the decade, saying that NATO threatens Russia“- Reuters quotes the statement from the Russian authorities.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Pieskowrecalling “further waves of NATO expansion”, said that the Alliance is moving towards Russia, not the other way around.
