Synoptics of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued warnings and a threat forecast.
IMGW warnings – freezing precipitation
First degree alarms before freezing precipitation apply in voivodships:
- Silesianin Żywiec and Cieszyn poviats, where warnings will be valid until 9 on Monday;
- Lesser Polandin poviats located in the south of the region, where it will be dangerous until 9 on Monday;
- Podkarpackiein: Jasielski poviats, LoomKrosno, Sanocki, Brzozów, Rzeszów, RzeszówStrzyżowski, where the alarms will come into force at midnight on Monday and expire at 15 on the same day;
- Warmian-Masurian Voivodeshipin the following poviats: Braniewski, Bartoszycki, Lidzbarski, Olsztyn, OlsztynOstróda, Nidzicki, Działdowski, where the warnings will apply from 2-9 on Monday.
Locally, heavy precipitation of freezing rain or drizzle causing ice is forecast.

What are the first degree IMGW warnings
The first degree warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that can cause material losses and a threat to health and life. Conducting activities in conditions of exposure to these factors is difficult and dangerous. Expect difficulties resulting from conducting activities in the area of threat, including delays caused by traffic difficulties, disturbances in outdoor events or the possibility of their dismissal. Recommended caution, the need to track messages and the development of the weather situation.
