Prince George, Princess Charlotte and their youngest brother, Prince Louis, wished their father, Prince William, a happy Father's Day. “We love you, dad. Happy birthday,” they wrote on the X platform. This is – as the BBC notes – the first entry of the siblings on the royal family's social media.

The post appeared on the official profile of the Duke and Duchess Walesi.e. William and Kate.

“We love you, Dad. Happy Father's Day,” reads the entry, under which there are two red hearts and the letters: G, C and L.

Below is a photo, according to the caption, taken by Duchess Kate, showing William with his children on the beach, facing the sea. Kensington Palace said the photo was taken last month during a family trip to Norfolk.

The BBC notes that this is the first entry by the children of the heir to the British throne that has been posted on the official account royal family on social media.

In the UK, Father's Day is celebrated on June 16.

Prince William also celebrated the day by posting a photo with his father on the X platform, King Charles III. The photo was taken on June 12, 1984 in the gardens of Kensington Palace, a few months before Prince Harry was born.

“Happy Father's Day, dad,” wrote the Prince of Wales.
