A bomb exploded in front of the Greek railway lines headquarters. The investigation is underway. The media combine an incident with a tragic railway disaster two years ago.

In front of the Hellenic Train office building, the largest Greek railway carrier, in the center of Athens he exploded on Friday evening an explosive charge – as the carrier said – only slight damage. There were no victims.

Half an hour before the explosion, the local media received an anonymous warning phone about the explosion. After receiving this information, the police appeared on the spot, which separated the area. A suspicious looking bag was found in front of the railway lines headquarters. The building was evacuated. As one of the witnesses said, the explosion took place 5 minutes after the evacuation.

Protest acts after the railway disaster
