A former lawyer, Kwon Yong-Seok, had an unusual idea for relaxation, who founded the Prison Inside Me hotel inspired by prison. In the facility located 80 kilometers from Seoul, guests can close themselves on five -meter goals.
At the price of PLN 500 per night, guests of the Prison Inside Me hotel in Hongcheon are closed for purposes equipped with a sleeping mat, a small desk and a toilet.
They also receive a blue uniform stylized as a prison, a tea set, a pen and a notebook. They receive a simple, modest meal through the window in the door. Guests are deprived of access to phones and are doomed to isolation.

“I think we have to look back from time to time”
The originators of this hotel are convinced that insulation has a beneficial effect on well -being, and such a radical vacation allows self -reflection, encourages meditation and simple exercises.
– I worked 100 hours a week. I didn't know how to stop working. I had the impression that someone kidnaps me against my will and that I could not control my own life-said Kwon Yong-Seok, quoted by the Daily Mail when he opened his hotel in 2013.
– I was hoping that this place would allow visitors to reflection on yourself. Sometimes you have to stop to see the path that has passed. People rarely do that and think about what we are ahead of us. I think that from time to time we have to look back – he added.
