A 58-year-old driver of a passenger car, for unknown reasons, drove into the opposite lane and collided with a truck tow truck. He died at the scene. The national road in Opatów was blocked for several hours.
On Saturday, around 8:30 a.m., there was an accident on national road number 43 on Częstochowska Street in Opatów, Kłobuck County. The circumstances were investigated on site by police officers from the Kłobuck traffic police together with a crime scene technician.

They initially determined that the driver of a Volkswagen, a 58-year-old resident of Częstochowa County, driving towards Krzepice, for as yet undetermined reasons drove into the opposite lane, colliding head-on with an Iveco flatbed truck driven by a 37-year-old resident of Wołomin County.
