Officers from the property crime department of the city centre police station were working on several incidents that occurred in June and July. On Słomińskiego and Pokorna streets, a thief broke into a basement. On Stawki Street, a theft occurred from a stairwell.
“The perpetrator stole six bicycles and a collection of limited edition blocks worth three thousand zlotys. The total value of the stolen items was estimated at nearly 25 thousand zlotys. The police detained the suspect and found the stolen collection of blocks in his partner's apartment. The 46-year-old admitted that he gave them to his partner as a gift,” describes Junior Asp. Charges and arrest
After spending a night in a police cell, the man was charged with theft and burglary. The court agreed with the motion of the District Prosecutor's Office of Warsaw Śródmieście-Północ, applying temporary arrest to the suspect for a period of three months.
