The owner of the Quad rental in Zakopane, who was to attack one of the city's inhabitants with a knife, heard further allegations. He will answer not only for threats and causing damage to the man's health, but also for exposing him to the immediate danger of losing his life.
As the spokeswoman of the District Prosecutor's Office in Nowy Sącz, Justyna Rataj-Mykyn, during the investigation, the suspect was supplemented by allegations of an offense under Art. 160 parish 1 of the Penal Code, according to which, who exposes a man to the immediate danger of losing his life or severe damage to health, is punishable by imprisonment of up to three years. – The date of completion of the investigation was set for April 30. After analyzing the entire evidence gathered, the decision will be made for the further course of the proceedings – she added.
Quads are their fields
After the incident that happened at the end of January at Zakopane Olcza, Stanisław G. first heard the charge of managing punishable threats and causing damage to health. A knife attack on one of the owners devastated by land vehicles occurred when the inhabitants demanded that the suspect cease to stop operating in their areas.
According to investigators, Stanisław G., under the influence of alcohol (0.9 mg/LW breath – about 1.9 per mil), attacked one of the landowners with a knife and hurt his hand. The suspect pleaded guilty and explained, indicating that he acted under the influence of emotions evoked by conflict regarding quad rides on private land.

In response to the growing social dissatisfaction and numerous interventions related to the devastation of fields, at the end of March councilors of Kościelisko and Poronin communes unanimously adopted resolutions limiting the recreational use of quads, snowmobile scooters and off -road cars. The new regulations are to protect the environment, ensure safety and peace to residents and tourists.
New regulations, among others They prohibit the movement of this type of vehicle closer than 500 meters from the buildings and at night. They also limit the speed to 20 km/hi forbid driving on bicycle paths, meadows, fields, pastures and private dirt roads without the consent of the owners or managers.
