A woman whose car was hit by a Seat driver has died. According to the police, just before the collision, the man was overtaking another vehicle and the 59-year-old was turning left.
The accident occurred in Witanowice in Wadowice County on Monday. Police officers and a prosecutor worked on site.
“Preliminary findings show that the driver of the Seat, on a straight section of the road, while performing an overtaking maneuver, hit a Ford vehicle whose driver was making a left turn,” the police say.

The 59-year-old died on the spot. The woman's body was sent for autopsy.
The police inform that the driver of the Seat was sober and his blood was taken for testing. The investigation explaining the exact circumstances of the incident is being conducted by the District Prosecutor's Office in Wadowice.
