Health contribution. As the deputies voted

A turbulent discussion preceded a vote on the amendment to the act, which reduces the health premium. The Sejm decided to accept it. It was supported by MPs of the Civic Coalition – including the Minister of Health Izabela Leszczyna – and the third road, and the left MPs of the left and most PiS deputies voted against. Among other things, the confederation abstained.

On Friday morning, the Sejm adopted a law that reduces the health premium. 213 deputies voted for her adoption, 190 deputies were against, and 25 abstained. 32 MPs did not vote.

152 KO deputies, including the Minister of Health Izabela Leszczyna, voted for adopting the amendment. MP KO Franciszek Sterczewski abstained. In March, Leszczyna announced that she would certainly not vote for lowering the health premium for entrepreneurs. She indicated that NFZ “Certainly it will not bear it.”

The act was also supported by everyone who participated in the vote of Poland's MPs of 2050-road (29 people) and PSL-three-way road (30 people) and non-attached MP Adam Gomoła.

The Left and Together MPs voted against the adoption of the Act. 166 PiS deputies were also against. One, Andrzej Gawron voted for “for” and seven people abstained. Confederation MPs and circles also abstained Republicans and two non -attached deputies.

The act will now go to the Senate.

Hot in the Sejm before voting

A turbulent discussion occurred before voting on the project regarding the health premium. After the commission's report was presented by Krystyna Skowrońska (KO), MP Marcelina Zawisza wanted to take the floor. Deputy Marshal Piotr Zgorzelski (PSL) said that he would be able to enter the rostrum before voting on the entire act. “Mr. Marshal, I applied to both conclusions,” she said. Adrian Zandberg intervened with the deputy marshal, who approached Zgorzelski.

– Mr. Marshal, to a request for rejection. I will really be obliged – he said.

The deputy marshal allowed Zawisza to enter the rostrum.

“You take money from patients,” she said, turning to the rulers. – If the Minister of Finance has a slowly lying six billion, I will tell you what you can spend it – on surplus, what hospitals and clinics have already realized – she added.

In the voting block, the application for rejection of the project was lost in its entirety. The Sejm also rejected the amendments of the commission.

Once again, Zawisza spoke before voting on the entire act. – I want to appeal to those who want to stop. If you let this law go, it will also be your responsibility – she said, turning to the deputies.

The Minister of Finance also performed Andrzej Domański. He declared that “the entire costs associated with this solution would be covered by the state budget.” – NFZ will not bear any consequences of the solution introduced today – he added. He also turned to MP Zawisza. The surpluses for last year were fully regulated – said Domański.

A few minutes break was ordered at the request of the PiS club. After its completion Mariusz Błaszczak He stated that the PiS club would vote against the act.
