IMWM issued meteorological warnings. On Monday, there is still dense fog in large parts of the country, locally limiting visibility to below 200 meters. Difficult conditions will persist throughout the morning.
Forecasters from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMWM) issued level 1 warnings.
IMWM warnings – dense fog
Yellow warnings due to dense fog apply in the following voivodeships:
- Pomeranianin eastern and southern counties;
- Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship;
- Podlasie;
- Masovian Voivodeshipin the entire voivodeship except for the following counties: Białobrzeski, Radom, RadomSzydłowiec, Przysucha;
- Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship;
- Greater Polandin the following counties: Wągrowiec, Gniezno, Konin, KoninKola, Turkish;
- Łódźin the following counties: Kutno, Łowicz, Łowicz, Skierniewice, Skierniewice, Rawski;
- Silesianin central and southwestern counties;
- Lesser Polandin the following counties: Nowy Targ, Bochnia, Wieliczka, CracowKraków, Wadowice, Oświęcim, Chrzanów, Olkusz, Miechowski, Proszowice, Wieliczka;
- Lublin Provincein the north of the voivodeship;
- Podkarpackiein the Tarnobrzeg district;
- Świętokrzyskiein the following counties: Ostrowiec, Opatów, Sandomierz, Staszów, Busko, Pińczów, Kazimierz.
Dense fog, locally freezing, is forecast, with visibility in places below 200 meters. The alerts will be valid until 11 a.m. on Monday.

What are IMWM first level warnings?
Conditions are expected to favor the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause material losses and pose a threat to health and life. Conducting business in conditions of exposure to these factors is difficult and dangerous. Expect difficulties resulting from carrying out activities in the hazardous area, including delays caused by road traffic, disruptions to outdoor events or the possibility of their cancellation. Caution is recommended, the need to follow messages and developments in the weather situation.
