Iran's supreme political and spiritual leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, threatened Israel and the US with a “crushing response” to attacks by the Israeli army and its allies, the AP reported on Saturday. Khamenei did not specify the timing of the attack or its scope.
“The enemies, whether the Zionist regime or the United States, will certainly receive a crushing response to what they are doing to Iran and the Iranian people and the resistance front,” Khamenei said in a video published by Iranian state media.
