The changes would also lead to the repeal of art. 152 parish 2, according to which the same penalty is subject to a person granting a pregnant woman aid during interruption of pregnancy in violation of the provisions of the Act (aid) or urges her to do so.
The document also provides that a doctor, nurse or midwife does not commit a crime, if the termination of pregnancy is a consequence of the use of a medical procedure needed to repeal the danger of a pregnant woman threatening health or life or when prenatal examinations or other medical conditions indicate a high probability of severe and irreversible fetal defects or incurable disease threatening his life.
