Such surrender will threaten the country and its citizens – he said.

– We will not end the war for revival until we destroy Hamas in the Gaza Strip, we will not release all hostages and we will not make sure that Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israel – added Netanyahu.

Deadlock in the gauze zone

From January 19, a weapon suspension was in force in the Gaza Strip. On March 18, Israel resumed the fighting after the parties could not determine the conditions for the extension of the truce. The Israeli government wants to release hostages, but emphasizes that its purpose is also to eliminate the military force of Hamas and remove it from power in the Gaza Strip.

Hamas declares that the dismissal of the kidnapped must be associated with a guarantee of the end of the war and the withdrawal of Israelis, as the original findings predicted.

The war in the Gaza Strip exploded after Hamas's attack to southern Israel on October 7, 2023, in which about 1,200 people were killed and 251 were abducted. Over 51,000 people were killed in the Israeli offensive. Palestinian territory is ruined, it has a humanitarian crisis.
