Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel He will not agree to adopt the conditions of Hamas, who wants to end the war in the Gaza Strip in exchange for releasing hostages and the withdrawal of Israel. – If we give in to the dictate of Hamas, we will miss the achievements of this war, (…) I will not give up the murderers who made the greatest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. Such surrender will threaten the country and its citizens – he said.
– We will not end the war for revival until we destroy Hamas in the Gaza Strip, we will not release all hostages and we will not make sure that Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israel – added Netanyahu.
Deadlock in the gauze zone
From January 19, a weapon suspension was in force in the Gaza Strip. On March 18, Israel resumed the fighting after the parties could not determine the conditions for the extension of the truce. The Israeli government wants to release hostages, but emphasizes that its purpose is also to eliminate the military force of Hamas and remove it from power in the Gaza Strip.
