The meeting was better started by GKS Katowice and took the lead in the third minute of the first period, when the goal was scored by Jean Dupuy. However, the team did not enjoy the lead for a long time, because a few minutes later Filip Komorski leveled the competition. In this party, it did not happen anymore and both teams went for a break with a result of 1: 1.
The second period completely belonged to GKS Tychy. In the eighth minute he scored a 2: 1 goal. On this, however, he did not intend to stop and presented himself much better than his rivals. Shortly afterwards, this brought the effect in the form of another goal. Thus, the team from these already led 3: 1 and was very close to the final triumph. GKS Katowice rushed to make up for the losses, but he was unable to score.
In the third period, the coach of this team put everything on one card. He took off the goalkeeper and introduced player from the field. This brought results and the team scored a contact goal. Jean Dupuy again entered the list of shooters. The tip was very exciting and the inhabitants of Katowice tried to level out. Their attacks turned out to be unsuccessful, which the rivals used. In the last seconds match Rasmus Heljanko hit the empty goal, which ultimately guaranteed the victory of GKS Tychy 4: 2.
