After the September Nations League matches with the Scots (3:2) and the Croatians (0:1), the Poles dropped in the FIFA rankings and moved from 28th place to 30th. And in the latest ranking they will not be in the top thirty at all.
In the Live ranking after the October international break Poland lost 1.89 points and dropped to 31st position – the last time it was this low was in December 2023. It was overtaken by Egypt, which recently won two matches against Mauritania (2:0 and 1:0), and in the next ranking he will have as many as 10.61 points more. This is enough for him to overtake the Polish team, which has been approached by Hungarians and Serbs.
The Poles' recent rivals also gained in the FIFA Live rankings. Mainly the Portuguese, who improved their results by 0.54 points in October (they also drew with Scotland), which, despite the failures of other leading teams, allowed them to advance from eighth to seventh place. The Croatians gained 1.76 points (they won against Scotland), but will remain in 12th place.
