Julia Szeremeta was to take part in the Polish senior championships in the coming days. This event is scheduled for December 1-7 in Wałbrzych. It was supposed to be her first appearance in the ring since the fight with Lin-Yu Ting and Polish fans were looking forward to it.
Now, the 21-year-old Olympic vice-champion has decided not to fight in Wałbrzych. She announced this on Tuesday evening on social media.
“Unfortunately, I have to resign from the Polish Championships for health reasons,” wrote Szeremeta.
