The 21-year-old Nigerian heard the allegation of attempted murder after he attacked another training hammer at the gym in Katowice. The suspect was arrested, the victim did not suffer serious injuries.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, February 12 at one of the gyms in Katowice.
“21-year-old Nigerian citizen suddenly attacked another man practicing a man, a 23-year-old, a training hammer. Policemen from the Katowice prevention department immediately appeared on the spot. The uniforms detained an aggressive and stimulated man to the uniforms,” said Sergeant. pcs. Dominik Michalik from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Katowice.
He added that the life of the victim is not threatened by any danger. He was in a hospital research, after which he was discharged home, he had already testified in the pending case. It is not a clear theme of the attack – according to the police, he was preceded by any argument between the exercising men. The suspect did not plead guilty.

After arrest, the Nigerian heard the prosecutor's charge of attempted murder, after interrogating the court's decision, he was arrested for three months. He can even threaten him with life imprisonment. Detailed circumstances of the incident are explained by police from the Police and Katowice police station under the supervision of the Katowice-Południe District Prosecutor's Office. Investigators secured, among others gym monitoring recordings.
