During the test in the smoke chamber, a fireman died at the Fire Brigade Training Center in Kielce. The man could not be saved despite the long -term resuscitation. The cause of death is unknown.

The tragic event occurred on Tuesday at the Training Center of the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Kielce.

The fireman fainted, breaking through the smoke

As reported by tvn24.pl st. Capt. Marcin Bajur, a press officer of the Świętokrzyskie Fire Brigade, a garbage of the experienced fireman took place during a cyclical test in the smoke chamber. These are exercises for PSP firefighters who participate in rescue operations. Rescuers pass them at least once every three years.

– As part of the test, firefighters must defeat the chamber in the respiratory devices in which there is smoke – explained Bajur. One of the firefighters fainted during the exercise. “Despite immediate and long -term cardiovascular resuscitation, the doctor present in place found the death of the fireman,” said the spokesman.

Bajur emphasized that the police will be conducted by the police under the supervision of the prosecutor's office. – It is too early to talk about the reasons for the tragedy – he noted in the answer to the question whether the apparatus in which the fireman was equipped was working properly.
