More than half of Kielce's inhabitants have no or limited water. All because of the failure of the water main supplying part of the city from the main intake in Białogon. Repair may take several hours.
A water main failure occurred on Saturday in Kielce at Mokra Street. According to Ziemowit Nowak, spokesman for Wodociągi Kieleckie, the main supply supplies part of the city from the main intake in Białogon.
Failure of the water main in Kielce
– Over 60 percent inhabitants of the city have water from this intake. Water shortages or shortages may occur in many housing estates, including: on Bocianek, Ślichowice, Pakosz, Podkarczówka and Uroczysko. Buildings are easily supplied with power from intakes in Zagnańsk and Dyminy. We will immediately start redirecting water and removing the failure to minimize its effects, assured Nowak, who asked residents to collect water for their own needs.
The spokesman for Kielce Waterworks added that usually removing this type of failure takes several hours.
