The slogan “Refugees welcome”, folk motifs, and all this with the addition of a hammer, a baseball bat and a pig's head. Żyleta's setting at Saturday's match of the first round of PKO Ekstraklasa caused a huge stir, and foreign media also reacted. It was considered scandalous, mainly because of the message.

Klepacka supports Żyleta's position on refugees

Żyleta did not create any visuals aimed at footballers, as initially thought by those who had a problem with interpretation and did not pay attention to details. The whole thing had a political context. The most ardent Legia fans do not agree with the implementation of the migration pact, which the European Union recently adopted. They oppose the presence of any refugees in Poland (mainly from Muslim countries), perceiving them as a threat to the white-skinned, Polish and European community.

The setting should be treated as a warning from right-wing fansthat they would observe the refugees, or possibly administer justice themselves and expel them from the country by force. Later, loud shouts could be heard on Żyleta: “Fuck off with the refugees.”

Supporters of right-wing parties supported Żyleta's position on refugees expressed through the setting. Politicians and left-wing circles condemn the aggressive message of hooligans. – This is pure evil, the politics of hatred – warned Michał Szczerba from the Civic Coalition. Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski described the scandalous setting as “something disgusting”. It is known that the League Commission will deal with the matter, and the Warsaw authorities will also take appropriate steps.

Zofia Klepacka, on the other hand, agrees with Żyleta's position. She is also not in favor of accepting refugees and migrants in Poland. The 2012 London Olympic medalist spoke out on social media, sharing a post by Unknown Offenders with a frame.

“No to forced migration to Poland,” she wrote in a Facebook post. She also tagged the country's largest media, describing them as leftist. In this way, she wanted her post to be more noticed.

Zofia Klepacka has repeatedly defended Catholicism and Catholics, expressed support for right-wing groups, and her attitude towards the LGBT community has been widely considered negative. In May, Sport.pl published an interview by Łukasz Jachimiak with a famous windsurfer.
