The problem concerned over three thousand inhabitants of three towns in the municipalities of Kochanowice: Kochcice, Jawornica and Lubecko. The commune authorities announced on Sunday that the State Poviat Sanitary Inspector in Lubliniec found the usefulness of water to consume by people in the Kochcice network water supply.

Microbiological exceeds

According to the communication of the Lublin Sanitary Fire, five water samples for laboratory tests were taken from the water supply. “Studies of water samples conducted did not show microbiological exceedances in the examined scope. None of the samples had the presence of Enterococci,” he stated.

Sanitary services point out that the quality of water in the Kochcice water supply network remains under increased supervision, will be monitored on an ongoing basis.

On Saturday, the crisis services of the Silesian Voivode reported that in previous days seven water samples for laboratory tests from the Kochcice network water supply were taken, three of them showed the presence of enterococci. Sanitary And local authorities reported that the water from the network is only suitable for rinsing toilets. The residents using the intake in Kochcice were supplied with barrels.
