Kołobrzeg. The services are trying to save a dog that got stuck on a breakwater

A dog stuck on a breakwater in Kołobrzeg (West Pomeranian). Firefighters and shelter employees have already made several attempts to catch the animal. Traps that are to help in this were arranged.

The first notification about the imprisoned dog on the breakwater was received by the Kołobrzeg firefighters on April 20. The younger aspirant Damian Romańczuk, press officer of the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Kołobrzeg said that the passerby heard a whim to reach the star at the exit of the port.

– Firefighters with the help of shelter employees tried to locate the animal. It failed. On Monday, the situation repeated itself, they again received a notification that there were sounds from the breakwater indicating the presence of a dog. Despite the next attempts, he could not be found – said the fireman.

Traps were arranged

On Tuesday, a policeman after service noticed a dog under concrete blocks. – The guard and shelter employees appeared on the spot. As before, they tried to pull the dog with the help of grippers with bait, again to no avail – said the fireman.

Arkadiusz Pluciński, the hostel manager said that only employees of the facility remained on the spot.

– Two traps were installed, so -called Żywoolka. The animal is not stuck, moves under the concrete structure – explained the manager. – We hope that the dog will leave the hideout and catch the trap.

The dog is small, gray, like a schnauzer. – Interestingly, there are no reports about disappearance, so it looks like nobody is looking for him. Employees will check the traps from time to time – he added.
