The head of the TSO in Gowarczów, a volunteer fireman from Bębnów and two other people sat on the bench in connection with arson in the Konecki poviat (Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship). According to the prosecutor's office, firefighters paid for starting fires, which they later extinguished.
The trial of four men accused of arson in the communes of Gowarczów and Końskie in the province. Świętokrzyskie began on Tuesday before the District Court in Końskie.
The prosecutor's office found that between June 2023 and January 2024. There were 11 arson in the Konecki poviat, of which 10 in the Gowarczów commune.

Four men were accused of arson, including the Head of the Volunteer Fire Brigade in Gowarczów and the Osp from the TSO in Bębnów.

According to investigators, firefighters persuaded two other men to set fire. They paid small amounts for starting fire.
Then volunteer firefighters took part in firefighting actions, fighting the fire they called themselves. According to investigators, they brought their direct danger to the life or health of many people and large -sized property.

The damage caused by the accused reached between 5,000 and 50,000 zlotys in individual cases. As the police reported last year, the total losses were estimated at PLN 250,000.
Regular fires of vacancies and outbuildings meant that in August 2023 the award for help in the approach of arsonus prowling in the commune was designated by the then head of Gowarczów Stanisław Pacocha. Ultimately, the police detained the suspects in February 2024.
On Tuesday, during the hearing, the accused refused to explain. They face up to eight years in prison.
