A tragic accident occurred in Korytów near Żyrardów. On a forest road, a passenger car hit a tree and burst into flames. One person died.
tvnwarszawa.pl reporter Artur Węgrzynowicz established that the accident occurred on the road between Korytów and Radziejowice in Żyrardów district.

– At 2.25pm the officer on duty at the Żyrardów police station received a report of a car fire on Główna Street in Korytów. In addition to police officers, firefighters and an Air Ambulance helicopter were dispatched to the scene. It was determined on the spot that there was a charred body of one person inside the car. The operation is ongoing – said Senior Sergeant Patrycja Sochacka from the Żyrardów County Police Headquarters.
The road leads through the forest. It is blocked. The car is so damaged that its make cannot be determined.
“We ask witnesses to the incident to contact the officer on duty at the District Police Headquarters in Żyrardów at 47 70 58 100 or 47 70 58 200” – the Żyrardów police appeal on social media.
