The 65-year-old fell into a well eight meters deep. The man survived the fall and firefighters helped him get out.
The incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. in Kraczynki near Poddębice. A man called the fire brigade dispatcher to say that his brother had fallen into a well. Firefighters went to the site.

– They threw the man a rope, which he tied around himself, and then pulled him out using a fireman's ladder – says the spokesman for the provincial headquarters of the State Fire Service in Łódź, Brigadier Jędrzej Pawlak.

The 65-year-old was taken by ambulance to hospital with minor injuries. The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
