A resident of Odrzykonia wrote on Facebook: “PLN 100,000 for killing Owsiak. Kill Owsiak. Shoot in you and Owsiak.” He was arrested. A verdict in the case of the 38-year-old has just been passed. The District Court in Krosno sentenced him to eight months in prison.
A spokeswoman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Krosno informed Marta Kolendowska-Matejczuk.
– the court found Tomasz P. guilty of crime – leading criminal threats against Jerzy Owsiak (…) and a public call to commit a crime of deprivation of Jerzy Owsiak's life via a public social network-the prosecutor Kolendowska-Matojczuk said in a communiqué, adding that the judgment is unlawful.
The 38-year-old was sentenced to both deeds to a total penalty of eight months imprisonment. In addition, the judgment is to be made public in local media.

During the interrogation in the prosecutor's office, the man pleaded guilty and gave explanations. Investigators explained that it was a reaction to negative comments about Owsiak's activities, which caused him an outbreak of anger.
“These entries were dictated by the fact that I read on the internet about Jerzy Owsiak, what he has and what he rides, and this caused me to write on the internet, call to kill. In me, anger increased in me” – explained Tomasz P.
The man was in custody from the moment of detention.
