Krystyna Miłobędzka is dead. The outstanding poet was 92 years old

Krystyna Miłobędzka, a poet, author of theater arts, a winner of prestigious literature awards. The publishing house Długa provided information about her death in social media.

“This morning Krystyna Miłobędzka (1932–2025) – a master of the and poetic record died. An outstanding figure of Polish literature and theater for children,” said the publishing house slowly on Thursday after 10 o'clock on Facebook. The entry is accompanied by a poem “What is always with a small step laughing with the word” from the volume “Dom, foods” from 1975.

Krystyna Miłobędzka is dead

Krystyna Miłobędzka was a poet, author of theater arts and theoretical works devoted to the child's theater – says the publishing house slowly on her website. She made her debut in 1960 “Anaglyphy”, ten years later she published the first poetry volume “Related”. He also has volumes such as “after screaming”, “lost” or “content list”. In 2020 “is / I am” – a collection of poems from 1960-2020.

Winner of many awards, including the Poznań Literary Award – Adam Mickiewicz, Awards Barbara Sadowska, the Wrocław poetic award of Silesius for lifetime work and the Minister of Culture Award.
