The incident occurred on February 23 on the A1 motorway near the Łódź Wschód junction. The driver of the passenger car lost control of the vehicle and fell out of the road, entering the ditch. Immediately after the incident, a traffic jam formed on the A1 motorway. The STOP Cham website has published a recording of one of the drivers who registered the irresponsible behavior of several other drivers, who instead of waiting for the arrival of the services and clearing the road, suddenly began to turn back and go against the tide.

We showed the recording to the spokeswoman of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Łódź. She admitted that the officers served a traffic incident, but about the fact that other motorists turned back and drove against the tide, the police did not know. – There was a road incident in which the driver of the passenger car lost control of the vehicle and drove into a ditch. He was injured. After this event, a fairly large traffic jam formed and as we can see in the video that appeared on the Internet, some drivers standing in this traffic jam began to turn back and ride the highway chapter under the tide – comments aspirant Kamila Sowińska from the NMP in Łódź. And he adds: – I already know that we did not have such a notification, but due to the recording, we conduct explanatory activities in the present case. There was a ban on turning back on the highway, for which there is 12 penalty points and a fine of five thousand zlotys.

That's how much is said, explaining, but it gives nothing, it is extremely irresponsible behavior – comments a former road policeman and a court expert for the reconstruction of accidents Andrzej Janicki. – After all, the lane that these drivers rode against the tide could in a moment need to be needed by other services – ambulance, fire brigade, in addition they could lead to another accident.
