Paweł Jasiak, a spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Łódź, announced the detention and arrest of the 46-year-old on Thursday. “For the rape and damage to the victim's health, the man is punishable by two to 15 years in prison,” said the prosecutor.

The incident occurred on Sunday, February 9, around 4am.
According to investigators, the suspect noticed and accosted a woman walking alone in the Old Town Park. He followed her towards Radogoszcz. When the 34-year-old was in the Julian Park, he turned her to the ground, hitting her head on the ground and led to loss of consciousness.

He left almost naked in the park
Almost completely exposed, because a woman dressed only in a bra, was noticed in the morning a witness walking through the park, who called an ambulance. The condition of the victim required immediate transport to the hospital.
“On the basis of secured monitoring recordings, a 46 -year -old man was immediately captured. It turned out that he was punished in the past” – added prosecutor Jasiak.
At the request of the Łódź-Bałuty District Prosecutor's Office, the court applied a temporary arrest against a man for a period of three months.
