Young people did not want to take advantage of the help that accommodation offered by the lodging house due to the fact that They would have to separate and could not live together. pregnancy … ” – she wrote in social media Municipal Police in Łódź.

On Valentine's Day, a young marriage was visited by a night patrol, which was Anna Grabarczyk, president of the Huśtawka Foundation. During the conversation, it turned out that on the same day they were in the department of supporting people in the crisis of homelessness.

“I informed them about the possibility of admission to the cover hostel a new beginning, I determined when we can arrange a party, we informed about all support options” – wrote Grabarczyk.

The “new beginning” hostel is a center financed from MOPS in Łódź, run by the Huśtawka Foundation and the Family Service Center, operating from April 1, 2024. It is a place for people in the crisis of homelessness who want to change their lives, need support in taking actions for the benefit of independence or re -independence.

New opening for a young marriage

For a young marriage, an urgent place was prepared for them in the hostel. Until they were provided with a roof over their heads, due to very low temperatures, the couple were under constant supervision of off -road employees from the Municipal Social Welfare Center in Łódź and city guards.

On Monday, all documents were ready to be married to move to the hostel.

“From today they are both in the hostel, declare their willingness to change their life situation, they want this change … We do not know what will happen next, but today we are happy with what has succeeded and we support them in this readiness …” – wrote Grabarczyk on Tuesday .

Equally important – from Monday, the partner of a pregnant woman found a job and signed a contract.

“We keep our fingers crossed to make them succeed!” – city guards in Łódź wrote.
