In Łomianki, near Warsaw, two boys, aged 13 and 14, climbed a high pole supporting a high-voltage line. The city guard, police and emergency services intervened on site.

According to the city guard in Łomianki, the incident took place on Friday in the area of ​​Pastewna Street. Two teenage boys climbed a pole of a 400 kV power line. A man noticed the extremely dangerous actions and notified the city guards. Emergency services were dispatched to the site.

“When the services saw the services, one of the boys tried to hide by lying flat on the scaffolding, but hearing the sirens of police cars, both of them decided to leave the metal structure. Thanks to the quick reaction of the officer on duty of the city guard, who immediately sent his patrol to the spot and notified the police about the situation without a moment's hesitation, fire brigade and Polish Power Grids to turn off the power supply to the power pole, no tragedy occurred,” the city guard reported.

The boys, aged 13 and 14, were not injured. They came down to earth. The guards handed the teenagers over to the police.
