A plane flying from Warsaw to Newark in the United States returned to Chopin Airport on Saturday. According to LOT spokesman Krzysztof Moczulski, this happened “after receiving a signal about a potential threat on board”. Airport spokeswoman Anna Dermont informed that “appropriate procedures in such a situation have been launched, state services are taking action”.
LOT Polish Airlines spokesman Krzysztof Moczulski told TVN24 that “after receiving a signal about a potential threat on board the plane performing flight LO11 from Warsaw to Newark in the United States, the captain, in accordance with the procedure, decided to return to the airport in Warsaw.”
