A tragic accident at a railroad crossing in Siedliska-Kolonia near Zamość. A passenger car, which was driven by a 43-year-old, entered the oncoming passenger train. The woman died on the spot.
The accident occurred on Monday around 9.50 at a railroad crossing in Siedliska – Kolonia in the commune of Zamość (Lubelskie Voivodeship).
– Mazda, driving a passenger car for unknown reasons, entered an unguarded railway crossing and collided with the Lublin – Rawa Ruska train. As a result of the incident, the passenger car was moved on the track by several hundred meters, and the driver, a 43 -year -old resident of the Zamość commune, died as a result of injuries – said the commissioner Dorota Krukowska -Bubiło, press officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Zamość.

– The ride on which the accident occurred is marked with vertical signs – the Cross of Saint Andrzej and the STOP sign, as well as horizontal – the line drawn on the road and the inscription Stop – said the policewoman.
At the work of the services that explain the causes of the accident, train traffic has been suspended.
