A deer got stuck between the metal bars of the gate of a private property. Firefighters came to the animal's aid and expanded it. The whole action lasted a few minutes. The deer was able to return to the wild.

– I was driving home from work and saw my neighbor standing at the gate. I also saw a deer stuck in it. I stopped. I wanted to free the deer myself, but I couldn't, I would have done more harm to it than good. So I covered her with a blanket and called 112, said Mr. Przemysław, who sent the recordings to the Kontakt24 editorial office.

The man explained the reason for covering the deer with a blanket. – When discovered, she was very anxious, stressed, pulled, and injured herself. I covered her to make her calmer and not to be so stressed, he admitted.

“Five minutes of action”

As he noted, the rescue operation did not last long. – It was a moment, lasted maybe five minutes. Firefighters arrived, pulled out equipment and widened the bars. It literally took a moment. The deer got up, limped, limped and ran into the forest. No wonder she was limping a bit, she had been trapped for two hours – she had to move her bones. But she was fine, nothing broken. The firefighters also said that he would definitely recover, he added.

We asked the press officer from the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Zielona Góra about the operation to save the animal. – The scared animal was running through the village and hit its head into the fence. The deer got stuck and needed our help. Two teams were dispatched. After bending the bars using hydraulic tools, the deer was freed and went towards the forest. There was nothing wrong with her, said senior captain Piotr Kowalski.
