Lucy, as rescuers report, did not leave her lady a step. At some point, she jumped into the thermal sleeping bag, in which the woman was placed during transport.
The employees of the Horska CR service emphasize that the female dog was very cooperating, and not all dogs encountered during rescue operations are.
“The dog usually recognizes that his master is wounded and often tends to defend him. When strange gentlemen come on noisy machines and quickly want to do something with the victims, the dog can attack them or complicate the rescue work with their presence” – write rescuers in the media social. That is why they call for dogs on a leash during actions, and and possible to separate them from emergency services. “Many rescuers had a toothed defender hanging on the leg,” they joke.
