President Andrzej Duda met with Donald Trump On Saturday at the National Harbor (Stan Maryland) near Washington during the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) conference. Their meeting was delayed, and the conversation – according to reports – lasted about 10 minutes, although it was planned for an hour. Marcin Mastalerek, head of the Cabinet of President Duda, argued on Monday that “it did not end at 10 minutes and it was not to be an hourly meeting.”

He said that “these are two different visits, two different visits.” He added that one is an official visit to the White House, the other is really a visit to the CPAC conference, where the meeting occurs. “Such things happen and this is completely normal,” he said.

– I think that such a visit to the White House will come to such a visit, because President Duda visits Washington from time to time – he said.

As he said, “it is good that at this key moment there was at least some time for this exchange of opinions and sentences, so that this Polish perspective would also be present in the head of Donald Trump.”

– There were important declarations despite a short conversation. The declaration that the American army, the one we arranged during our rule, 10,000 soldiers, will not be moved from Poland somewhere else, this is a very important declaration for us – he said.
